Mirror Productions owns the audiovisual rights of the three books from which the saga of “THE EMPIRE OF THE DRUGLORD” is based on. The author of the books has a personal contact with people who were directly in touch with Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman and his closest associates. Much of the information in the episodic series was gathered by additional interviews conducted by a professional team, and internal testimonies not known publicly nor necessarily included within the three books. The first book of the trilogy will be published towards the end of 2017 with an important release. There has been a deep, up & close and extensive research conducted on the subject matter as well as its protagonist, co-protagonists and various other participants and family members during a period encompassing more than 5 years.
